Self-Love Club is a series of thoughtfully designed gatherings that encourage creativity, confidence, and connection. Through art, movement, conversation, and other hands-on experiences, each event invites people to slow down, try something new, and reconnect with themselves while building genuine community. You don't need any experience. Just curiosity and an open mind.

Hi, welcome to Self Love Club. I'm Hyesu—an artist, author, and the founder of Self-Love Club.

I wanted to share a little about why I started this community.

For a long time, self-love and self-care felt like unfamiliar concepts to me. I didn't grow up practicing them, and I never really knew what they looked like in everyday life. When the pandemic hit, I felt a strong desire to reconnect with myself and make a meaningful change. I began creating small rituals through art, journaling, movement, and simply making time for myself. Over time, those practices transformed not only my mental well-being but also my physical health and confidence.

Self Love Club grew from that experience. It's a space where women can slow down, try something new, and reconnect with themselves through thoughtfully designed experiences. Sometimes we'll make art, sometimes we'll move our bodies, and sometimes we'll simply gather and share stories. No experience is needed—just curiosity and an open heart.

My hope is that every gathering leaves you feeling a little more connected to yourself and to the people around you.

I'm so glad you're here.

What to Expect

Self-Love Club is an intimate gathering designed for women to slow down and dedicate time to themselves. Hosted in my Brooklyn studio, each session is intentionally kept small (usually no more than 10 women) to create a warm, welcoming space where you can connect, try something new, and leave feeling more confident and inspired.

Where to Find Us

Our workshops take place at thoughtfully chosen locations throughout Brooklyn, including my cozy studio at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and community spaces like CKO Clinton Hill. Each event page includes the exact location, directions, and everything you need to know before you arrive.
