Anheuser-Busch Murals

I went back to Anheuser-Busch's office in Chelsea to do additional murals for their two mother's rooms. It was all about family, togetherness and love, which we often take it for granted and it was just all around nice to paint something hopefully makes people happy and positive.

Design Walk Atlantic Ave BK

I was invited to do a live truck painting along with awesome artists Zeropro and Rob Plater presented by Grumpy Bert at Design Walk Atlantic Ave BK, May 7th from 3:00-8:00 on Atlantic Avenue between Bond and Hoyt Streets. Live painting can be nerve-racking and super exciting at the same time since you have a limited time frame, people are watching you, also you're likely to be full on freestyle it as it goes. However, it always ends up being THE most fun experience and it's my happy place to be. :)

The moving company Solidarity Movers offered their moving truck for us to paint on. Thanks everyone to make this such a great event!

INS & OUTS Group Show

Happy to be a part of this group show Sophie Blackhall-Cain curated at Toowoomba Regional Gallery in Australia runs from 23 April - 22 May. INS & OUTS reflects on the emerging trend amongst contemporary illustrators who work in the overlapping fields of small scale illustration and large, outdoor murals.  (www.tr.qld.gov.au/trag)

The Washington Post

It's always exciting to work on an editorial piece especially when it's a super fast turn-around, which makes you stressed out-of course-but excited at the same time.(at lease for me)

Here is one I recently did for the Washington Post - I really appreciate when ADs have a specific picture in their mind in terms of how to incorporate my style to the piece especially for a tight deadline assignment, which this assignment was. Really enjoyed working on it. Thanks AD Kathy Lee.

MoCCA Arts Festival

I have participated in this year's MoCCA Arts Festival tabling with talented illustrator Rumi and Dingding. It was so much more FUN than I ever expected and got to meet a bunch of lovely people as well. Here are some pictures of stuff that I have sold and showcased and our table. Thanks everyone who stopped by and nice meeting you all!
